Lieke - Australië en Nieuw-Zeeland 2015/2016

English version of Carnarvon to Port hedland

In the evening we went for fishing and drinking on the jetty again. We enjoyed the sunset there. Unfortanly we didn't catch any fish thst is big enought to take with use. The next morning is the same. A bad thing is that we didn't fish that was big enought, but the good things of it is that I learned to do fishing. In the afternoon we drived to Coral bay. Coral bay is a city by the ningaloo reed. This reef is really nice to snorkeling and you can do snorkeling for ten metres of the beach. We spend two days here to enjoying the reef with all the fish and the brown colours. I saw as well a turtle and a dolphin when I was snorkeling in the reef. On the beach we met Emilie agian and in the evening we had the same campingspot, so we talked about the good time together in Perth. After Coral bay we drived in one day to Tom Price. We decided to make a shopping day of it to prepare for Karjini National park. In the morning we did a minetour, because Tom Price is a big minecity. On wednesday 11th of may we started the advenser in the national park. We started with the Waeo Gorge, a walk to the top of the clifs and down to a pool. After lunch we stared the walk to Hancock Gorge. By this hike you walk in the water and the last part you have to swim in the water. For me the water is to cold for swimming, so I waited after the end of the walk for the rest, enjoying the colours of the rocks and the swimmimg people. On thursday a part of the park that isn't populair stays in the plan. We drived a roadtrainway to Hamersley Gorge. This place is famous of different colours because of the iron in the rocks. There is a hoke again, so we walked to a pool down and do some swimming here. But what an azaming lcation for photography, all the things come perfect together. The Joffre Gorge and Knox Gorge is the programm for friday. Joffre Gorge is a walk to a waterfall and Knox Gorge is a walk next to the river and between to cliffs. The Knox gorge hike is a walk for 2,5 hours on loss rocks and with a amazing view. At the end of the walk you have a window were you can see more of the cliffs behind this one. The last day of the park we went to the most populair part, Dales Gorge. Here is a hike that brings you to the Circulair and the Pern pool. Both pools are buteaufull, but you can see that the hike is more busy with people. From the national park we drive further to Port Herdland, Broome and Darwin.
